Default -2/-2 or -2/-3?

Hello, I am about to buy an oldschool shield. I am interested in 3 different shields(all with the same skin and req). The only difference is that one is -2 in stance/-2 echanted, one is -2 stance/-3 hexed, and the other is -2 enchanted/-3 hexed. Can you please rate these in order of rarity, price, and effectiveness(which is more practical to use).

Thanks.

Most people don't like Stance shields. So those may be lower on the ratings list than the others. They should also be a little cheaper.

Enchanted are usually a little more desired than hexed as well.

But it's been awhile since I've sold any shields, so you'll have to take all this with a grain of salt.

-2/-2 are definietly the most common ones and I have the feeling that req tactics is also more common (or being sold more often)

"-2 ench/ -3 hex": Not sure about those. Do they exits ?
I always only see "-2 st / -3 hex"

About effectiveness: Pretty much depends on your build.....

These seem to be a little odd - are you saying they each have 2 "rec'd damage" mods, but no health mods?

If that is so, it depends a lot upon what character you are going to use them on and what sort of build. The enchanted/hexed is probably the most useful as it works with casters and W/E (obsidian warrior/tank). Stances don't seem to be used as much these days.

Nobody uses Frenzy? Sprint? Rush? Flail? How many can I list that get used regularly?

For farming builds (Mending+defense stance) the -2/-2 would be best.
If farming foes that like to hex, then a -2/-3 would be better, and which -2 would depend on your build. Many hex monsters will have an enchant removal skill as well, so probably the -2^stance.

Not sure these would do too well in PvP as you aren't typically worries about reducing PHYSICAL damage, but increasing health and providing another useful mod (+10 armor v various).

They'd be pretty much useless in PVP, since health > all in that scenario. If your attacker switches to an elemental weapon then you're just carrying a paperweight anyway.

Double bonuses are best suited for farming, so you have to decide where you're going to be farming and what skills you are going to be farming with. If an enemy is hexing you, odds are good that it's attacking with a wand, hence doing non-physical damage anyway. Before the Great Absorption Nerf, I had a nice -2/-3 Shield that worked wonders when farming Titans or Ice Imps. Now though, I wouldn't touch a -3 hexed mod for any reason I can think of.

it's stances like flail and frenzy that can lead to the big damage. Stances = the win. always.

if you are a Warrior and you aren't in either an IAS or IMS stance at all times you're failing. if you're a ranger and you never EVER use a stance, then you fail too.
